Obama Speech
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Visitors - Welcome to the East Dragon Den! Please participate and comment!
We will try to use a live blogging service for the speech. You can see it below this post.
We will also use posts on this blog if necessary to ask and answer questions as we watch the speech. I've considered streaming the speech right here on the blog in addition to the projectors on our walls. If the video clogs up our wireless, we'll need everyone to turn the video off and just watch the big screens. (We'll still blog, so leave the computers on and keep them connected to the wireless!)
Here is the website we may need to use to stream the speech.
Here is the speech for everyone to read. I used Wordle to create this image of the speech's text. The larger a word appears, the more it is used in the speech.
There are also resources for students and families who would like to continue the discussion.
Did you know that the White House has a blog of their own? Check it out right here!
As always, we'll be looking for you to push your thinking! Enjoy!
Thanks,
Mr. Moore and Ms. Vander Velde

Great job students and teachers in Littleton! Thanks so much for providing this backchannel and opportunity for live interaction during and following President Obama's speech!
ReplyDeleteHere is a link to Sarah's response, which we posted to YouTube immediately following the speech. It's 2 minutes long, and we linked this from our family learning blog.
