Mixtures

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today, your first job is to become an expert on the vocabulary word, "mixtures."

Below are the big ideas about mixtures:

•Physical changes do not change the type of matter.
Mixtures are combinations of two materials that retain the physical qualities of both.
•Mixtures can be separated into their original materials by physical means.
•Solids mixed with a liquid that do not dissolve can be separated by filtering.

Once you've completed your mixture notes, please comment on the last two posts.
Thanks in advance for pushing your thinking!
