The Circulatory System
If you're working on this blog post, you've already finished the digestive system quiz on Edmodo, right?
Great! Let's move on then...
The circulatory system is also called the cardiovascular system. The main jobs of this system are to deliver oxygen and nutrients to your entire body, and to help get rid of waste. We'll share some resources for you here on the blog, and then you'll spend some time reading, learning, thinking, and writing notes in a Google Doc. Finally, you'll post a comment here on the blog. In your comment, please share your new learning (at least three new facts or things you learned) and a couple of questions you have.
Start with this quiz. It's a great idea to take notes, especially on the questions you miss. That's where your new learning will come from!
Here are the resources:
The Body's Highway (Reading Passage from D.E. Science - sign in before you click the link!)
Special Delivery (A second reading passage from Discovery Education)
Kid's Health Website - you can check out all five pages of this!
GCSE Bitesize - a bit more complicated, lots of great diagrams and images!
We can't wait to read your comments! You'll be able to work on this post/comment for a couple of days, so begin your comment in a google doc!
Push your thinking, Dragons! The world is watching.
