Mummies of the World

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Many of you read the Time for Kids issue which had lots of interesting information about mummies. The article spoke of an exhibit that can be seen at museums called Mummies of the World. If you follow the link, you can see the actual exhibit. It is showing now in Charlotte, North Carolina. Many of the pieces in the exhibit have come from European countries where they have been held for years.

There is no shortage of interesting sites to learn about mummies. Here's an example! Would you like to make your own mummy? Try these links! They might not work on our netbooks, but you can try them at home...

Not all mummies are man made - some are mummified naturally, like the ice mummy.

What do you think about mummies?
Should we be digging them up to learn more about the past?
Should we be displaying them in our museums?
Should we be posting about them on our blogs?
What questions do you have about mummies?
What new things did you learn about mummies?

Please share your thoughts by clicking comment below!
