DeleteDear Mr. Moore,
ReplyDeleteResponse No. 1: A tornado forms when a) when cool, dry air and hot, moist air collide. This creates a thunderstorm, and while the lightning is crackling, sometimes the storm creates a funnel cloud, which can rotate, turning it into a tornado.
Response No. 2: I would feel scared as a rabbit with a fox outside its hole. However, I would also be morbidly fascinated by the terrible destruction the storm has wrought.
Thanks for your comment! Let's make sure that we change your profile name today.

If I seen a real life Tornado I would be scared and wouldn't know what to do besides scream and run Like a wolf.
Thanks for your comment! Be careful when you are writing comments. "If I seen" should be "If I saw..." I loved the simile though! Great job.
DeleteDear Mr.Moore,
ReplyDeletea tornado forms by when warm air and cool air collide each other which makes a severe storm which means a tornado is coming. If I saw a tornado in action I would be as scared as a cat who is scared by a dog because the tornadoes cause a lot of destruction.
Thanks for your comment! In the future, I will not publish your work if your sentences do not begin with a capital letter. Thanks for the great simile!
DeleteDear Mr.Moore,
ReplyDeleteThe first and only step for a tornado to form is when cold and very dry air and warm and moist air collide into each other. If I ever was near a tornado I would be as scared as a cat stuck on a tree.
Thanks for your comment! Great work following the directions and using a simile. I can't wait to read some of your comments when you have more time to think and write!
DeleteDear Mr.Moore,Ms.V,Ms.Thumm
ReplyDeleteA tornado forms from a funnel at first but there is rain and Lightning which forms a thunderstorm then there is hail which will form a funnel and that's when the tornado happens but not always. I have seen a tornado and i was as scared as a cat.
Sincerly,

DeleteDear MR. Moore,
ReplyDeleteThe first step is for the hot air and cold air to chase each other.I would feel so scared I would be scared as a girl.
William, Thanks for your comment! Please make sure to use spaces after your commas and ending punctuation in the future. I'm also thinking that I should see more of the vocabulary words. Nice work on using a simile.
DeleteDear Mr.Moore,
ReplyDelete1.Tornadoes start from funnel clouds. The funnel clouds start when hot moist air and cool dry air colliding. 2.I would get such a rush if I saw a tornado because I know they are extremely deadly and that I could get swept up like dirt gets swept up by a broom.

Ian,
DeleteThanks for your comment! Nice job, but next time, you do not need to use the numbers. You can just reply with your thinking. nice job with your word choice sir!
Dear Mr.Moore,
ReplyDelete1.How a tornado forms is it start out as a bad storm then as the breezes gets warmer then the tornado starts to create a funnel cloud, then the lightning starts to get bad and when the funnel cloud hits the ground the tornado starts.
2.How I would feel if I seeing a tornado in action a mile away from me I would dash as fast as I could to my house for safety.
Heaven,
DeleteThanks for your comment! Nice work! In the future, you do not need to number your ideas. You can just respond. Is it really true that it's not a tornado until it touches the ground?
Dear Mr.Moore,
ReplyDeleteThe first step for a tornado to form is to have cold air and hot air mixed together. Next, the hot air and cold air fight together and they rotate and it will turn into a tornado with the hot air and cold air. I feel terrified to be near a tornado because the tornado winds are very strong and they can take you or anything else.
Thanks for your comment! This is a great example of what I expected! Anytime you use a comma or period, please make sure to use a space afterwards.
DeleteDear Mr.Moore,
ReplyDeleteThe first step for a tornado is that the hot and cold collide and keep chasing each other and then you can see funnel clouds and lightning and then the tornado starts to rotate and destroys a lot of stuff. If I were in a real tornado I would scream my pants of and I would feel like I was going to to be destroyed bye one I would also be exited because I would bee seeing one!!!
Yicel,
DeleteThis is great! Thanks for your comment! You really did a great job, but be careful with your spelling. "Bee" and "exited" are spelled correctly but they are the wrong words. I think you meant to write "be" and "excited."
Dear Mr.Moore,
ReplyDeleteThe way that a tornado forms is when a cool air and hot, dry, damp air bumps or collides into each other. Then it may pass or start a whether storm such as a a funnel cloud. If I saw a tornado I would be used to it because I have been through a lot of them.

Thanks for your comment! I know that out where you used to live there were lots of tornadoes! Maybe you could share a little more about what it's like to see a real tornado!
DeleteDear East Dragon Den,
ReplyDeleteThat was a good way to set directions. This is how a tornado forms. First, the tornado starts to rotate faster and faster and forms in a funnel cloud. Next, once the tornado lands of the Earth's surface,
severe damage with thunderstorms of lightning begins. That is how I might tell how a tornado forms. But, how would I feel if I saw a tornado in action? You must think i am insane because it would be as awesome as going to the top of MT Everest!!
From,
Dalena

DeleteDear Mr. Moore,
ReplyDeleteI read how tornadoes form. First, there is warm wet air and cold dry air and they collide into each other. Then, it starts to rotate and it forms a funnel cloud. I once saw a tornado and I was scared we were coming back from New Mexico and we were side by side I just kept saying "tomato tomato" but I meant to say tornado and I had speech problems and I felt scared and panicked. It was a tiny tornado.
Thanks for your comment! This is a great comment - it made me smile. I wonder if you meant to add a period between the words "scared" and "we." Also, please make sure that you use periods after every comma or ending punctuation mark.
